  • Contribute to the development of new medicines available to the NHS and the patient.
  • Contribute to knowledge about available medicines, and to their better use and outcomes for the NHS and the patient.

Lines of research

  • Pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics: Study of the pharmacokinetic and bioavailability characteristics of medicinal products, as well as their comparisons and/or modifications/interactions/factors that influence them. Study of effect or response variables.
  • Pharmacoepidemiology: Evaluations relating to the safety, effectiveness, usefulness, resource consumption, and/or quality of use of medicines.
  • Evaluation of the methodological, ethical and regulatory characteristics of clinical research.
